HOT AS HELL!

This summer has been “HOT AS HELL!” and I believe the heat has even begun to affect the real estate business. We had our best closed month in June in over a year and were not far behind in closings for July. Listings have been up all year and now sales are moving forward as well. I think Buyers and Sellers are adjusting somewhat to high interest rates and elevated home prices.
I don’t see these two factors changing the rest of the year significantly, but I do believe real estate sales will continue to improve-especially for those that put forth the effort to be successful! Let’s go out there NOW and get the job done for the balance of 2025!
The Gloucester Sale office has now relocated to Gloucester Courthouse occupying 6558 Main Street, Suite 3 in the Morgan Building. If you are in the area, come by and say hello! Melanie Whitehead and her Team at the Gloucester Office are already exceeding expectations and having one of their best years ever in the Gloucester/Mathews area!
Eight of our managers and owners attended the Top Workplace recognition lunch in Virginia Beach on August 7th. Thank you all who participated in the Top Workplace survey and made us for the fourth time in a row, the Number 1 Top Workplace in the Mid-size firm category.
