Redfin has released its list of "Best Cities for Moms." How did they determine what made a place mom-friendly?
To generate the lists below we calculated the percentage of listings in each region that had hot tubs, nearby parks, shopping, or libraries…
Number one on the list was Playa Vista ("Watch the playas") California, where 15 percent of homes have hot tubs. (There were plenty of parks and shopping, too, but let’s focus on the important stuff.)
Six of the top 10 cities were in California; Seattle, Philly, Denver, and Chicago rounded out the list.
