I know there is still a quarter left in 2025 and that’s plenty of time to get more business pending and closed for 2025. But the fourth quarter is also a good time to start your planning for 2026. Setting Goals is critical for making a good plan for success in the coming year. Goal Setting includes several critical elements for success. You first must set your overall goal for 2026 – how much money do you want to make – how much production will it take to make the amount you set to earn – and how many listings and sells will it take to reach your production goal. Secondly, you need to set target dates during 2026 to reach certain plateaus or sub goals. This allows you to measure progress and keep you on track for your overall production goal for the year.
Thirdly, take a look at obstacles and roadblocks that can knock you off course – health issues, family issues, time management and market conditions to name a few. Find solution and plans to overcome any obstacles and roadblocks you identify. Fourthly, determine the expected benefits of meeting your production goals and realizing your personal income – financial security, peace of mind and happiness. And finally, ask yourself this question – is it worth it to me? Is it worth working hard and implementing my plan for success and do the rewards out way the effort and commitment.
