(Updated 1/22 to clarify that Warner will be speaking via private videoconference; his schedule precluded him from appearing in the flesh.)
What does 2013 have in store for Realtors® and real estate on Capitol Hill? Virginia senator and former governor Mark Warner will talk with (and answer questions from) attendees at GetActive, VAR’s Legislative Advocacy Conference, on Thursday, February 7 at 11:00 AM (at the Omni Richmond Hotel).
If anyone know what’s going on up in D.C., it’s Mark Warner. He’s on the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs — specifically, the Housing, Transportation, and Community Development subcommittee.
And Warner won’t be giving a canned speech about housing. He’ll be giving us a private videoconference, talking to — and taking questions from — the Realtors® in the room. He’ll be speaking to Realtors® specifically, and he’ll explain what kinds of changes to expect, and how they’ll affect your business. (After all, the guy’s a businessman himself.)
So be sure to register for GetActive — the early bird deadline (for the best rate) is January 28.
